What Schools are Saying

Director, Community School Middle School (.pdf file)

Principal, Cincinnati, Ohio (.pdf file)

Assistant Superintendent , Paradise Valley, Arizona (.pdf file)

"Well, as you predicted I have been receiving a lot of parent feedback about the Project 7th Grade presentation, all overwhelmingly positive!  I have received several calls and emails from parents who missed it but heard about it from another parent wanting to know when they can see the presentation.

I also had a call from a Dad who talked about his ex-wife seeing the kit and having a negative reaction, then after his synopsis of the presentation; she did a 180 and was excited about presenting it to their kids together.

The day after the presentation I had a message on my phone from a Dad who said when his 7th grade daughter saw the kit she said “Oh, cool! When do I get to do that?”  Needless to say he was glad to hear that response from her!

I just wanted to thank you again for such a wonderful and helpful presentation.  Clearly it has made an impression on the parents at my school.  I look forward to scheduling you to come and present at the start of the next school year."

Amanda Nosbisch, Prevention Programs Supervisor
- Pueblo Region
Kyrene School District

“It gives kids a way to deal with the peer pressure…It gives them an out by saying, ‘I can’t do that (take drugs, smoke pot, etc.) because my parents might drug test me.’ And of course we would like it to open lines of communication between the parents and their children at an appropriate age.”

Chip Giles, Gardner Newman Middle School Principal
LaGrange, Georgia

“You need to educate yourselves and be proactive. Quite often, the kids know more than we do…If parents in this community connect with each other, we narrow the risk for this [drug abuse]…parents are the key to fighting the problem.”

Dr. Kevin Riley, Gretna Schools Superintendent
Gretna, Nebraska

“This drug test kit, when used as a prevention tool in the home, gives additional meaning and seriousness to the ongoing discussion that we want parents to have with their children.”

James Lee, Paradise Valley Assistant Superintendent
Phoenix, Arizona

“Project 7 th Grade provides parents the most up to date information regarding the drug issues facing our children and couples that education with a free home drug test kit to use as a prevention tool.”

Sonny Tudor, Delshire Elementary School Principal
Cincinnati, Ohio
